Housing benefit offices in Hamburg
All housing benefit applications are processed by the housing benefit offices (Wohngelddienststellen) of the seven district offices (Bezirksämter). Which district office is responsible for you depends on where you live.
Responsibility and contact
You can submit applications online, via the Wohngeld app or in writing. By post, send everything to the central mailing address: Wohngeld Zentrale Poststelle, Caffamacherreihe 1–3, 20355 Hamburg. No personal visits are possible there – you can drop off your application at your local housing benefit office.
